The GAFnews expects and welcomes contributions that stimulate debate and discussion or that reflect the diverse range of perspectives, experiences and imaginations of its audiences. While encouraging vigorous debate and critique, we expect all participants to treat each other with respect and courtesy.

While the GAFnews aims to provide balanced coverage of issues in the content we produce commission or acquire, user contributions to interactive services reflect the views of the participants. From time to time, one particular side of the debate may dominate views expressed. This simply reflects the natural flow of contributions we receive. The GAFnews endeavours to give all users a fair opportunity to participate.

GAFnews does not endorse the views or material contained in users' contributions.

You may contribute to GAFnews Community and interactive services subject to the following terms and conditions. These conditions apply to any content contributed in any format to any platforms hosted or facilitated by GAFnews. GAFnews may change the Conditions of Use from time to time, at the GAFnews 's sole discretion.

1.   User Participation

1.1 Children's contributions should be supervised by an adult.

1.2 You may be held legally responsible for the content you submit to GAFnews 's interactive services.

1.3 All material published on the GAFnews 's interactive services is at GAFnews 's sole discretion.

1.4 Your contribution may be edited, removed or not published if GAFnews considers it to be:

1.4.1 defamatory, or otherwise unlawful or that it violates laws regarding harassment, discrimination, racial vilification, privacy or contempt;
1.4.2 intentionally false or misleading;
1.4.3 an infringement of intellectual property rights or copyright. See below for further information on copyright;
1.4.4 abusive, offensive or obscene;
1.4.5 inappropriate, off topic, repetitive or vexatious. For example the GAFnews reserves the right to reject contributions that have been widely canvassed in the forum. It also reserves the right to reject contributions from participants who seek to dominate the discussion;
1.4.6 compromising the privacy of yourself, other contributors or of GAFnews staff, or containing inappropriate personal information;
1.4.7 seeking to endorse commercial products or activities or to unduly promote commercial products or services;
1.4.8 seeking to directly solicit donations;
1.4.9 deliberate provocation of other community members;
1.4.10 a posting on behalf of a suspended member. This may lead to you also having your membership locked or terminated.

1.5 GAFnews reserves the right to archive and republish all contributions to its interactive services across all platforms.

1.6 GAFnews reserves the right to use contributions for internal training purposes.

1.7 Participation conditions may vary across GAFnews interactive services. Specific guidelines can be found on the front page of each.

1.8 Repeated breaches of these Conditions of Use may cause GAFnews to complain to the Internet Service Provider of the person responsible, and in very serious cases, initiate legal action.

2.   Linking

2.1 GAFnews publishes links to external sites at its sole discretion, including links posted by users subject to the moderation statement of any interactive service.

2.2 GAFnews is not responsible for, and does not endorse, the content on external sites.

2.3 GAFnewsreserves the right to remove user-posted links for any reason, at any time, with or without notice to the user. Links may be deleted where, for instance, they are not editorially justified or are unsuitable for the likely audience.

3.   Copyright

3.1 Material published on the internet is protected by the same laws of copyright which apply to books, videos and music.

3.2 The right to "copy" always remains with the owner of the material. Unless expressly stated otherwise, you are not permitted to copy or republish anything you find on the internet without the copyright owner's permission.

3.3 If you wish to refer to material on someone else's website we recommend you include an attribution in your message.

3.4 Under the United States copyright law, limited quotation is permissible in the context of genuine review and criticism. However this does not permit extensive quoting of song lyrics etc.

Note: You are welcome to quote content from GAFnews online sites and interactive services within your contributions, however we ask that you attribute the URL of GAFnews page where you found the quote or picture or sound.

3.5 When you submit content, in any format, you acknowledge that you have all necessary rights, including copyright, in the material that you are contributing to GAFnews interactive services. You agree that GAFnews may use the material online and in whatever other ways GAFnews chooses, now and in the future.

4.   Comments and Complaints

- Contributions made to interactive services will not be treated as program or service complaints. GAFnews has a variety of complaint handling mechanisms available to members of the audience who wish to complain about GAFnews programming material.

- Comments and suggestions about the content and management of particular interactive services can be made on the particular interactive service or via Contact Us.

GAFNEWS STATEMENT: For those who don't use their intelligence at its full capacity, publishing on some articles does not mean that GAFnews agree with their content or support it. It means that GAFnews believe it is important for the people of this planet to know about what people think or do, even when what they think or do is completely wrong and against GAFnews philosophy. When GAFnews selected articles in the past about wrong religious fundamentalists in some countries praying for rain, I am sure no GAFnews reader was blind enough to believe that GAFnews was supporting praying to change the weather.

So, when GAFnews select articles which are in favor of drugs, anti-Semitic, anti-Jewish, anti-Christian, anti-Islam, racist, revisionist, or inciting hatred against any group or religion, or any other stupid article, it does not mean that GAFnews support them. It just means that it is important for all human beings to know about them. Common sense, which is usually very good among our readers, is good enough to understand that.

When, like in the recent articles on drug decriminalization, it is necessary to make it clearer, which in this case was very clear: GAFnews support decriminalizing all drugs, as it is stupid to throw depressed and sad people (as only depressed and sad people use drugs) in prison and ruin their life with a criminal record.

That does not mean that there is any change to our Message which says clearly that we must not use any drug except for medical purposes. The same applies to the freedom of expression which must be absolute. That does not mean again of course that GAFnews agree with anti-Jewish, anti-Christian, anti-Islam, anti-Semites, racists of any kind. But by knowing your enemies or the enemies of your values, you are better equipped to fight them. With love and respect of course, and with the wonderful sentence of the French philosopher Voltaire in mind: "I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it".
